Adrian Coetzee
Adrian Coetzee finished his BSc (Construction Management) degree at the University of Pretoria in 1988. As part of the 5 year degree, he was required to do practical work and therefore joined a building contractor as Construction Manager from 1984 till 1988. He joined a property development company in 1989 as Project Manager until June 1990 when he decided to establish his own business as Property development consultant.
He then took up the position of Director at a National Property Development company (Stocks & Stocks) in August 1993 where he remained until July 1997. His responsibilities were to control and to manage the office and all the projects in Kwa-Zulu Natal and various projects in Gauteng for the national developer.
In August 1997 he started JAC Projects to specialize in project and construction management. One of the highlights of the years with JAC for him, was the project management of a 35,000m² IT office building for RMB Properties and Pro Arnan in Centurion. Subsequent to the completion of the project, JAC Projects was appointed by Momentum Life to construct a clubhouse at the new office building and a new parking area of 12,000m².

In June 2004 he was appointed by a BEE company (PropAccess) as the exclusive project manager of the L’Agulhas Links residential golf estate. This project included a hotel & wellness spa, 120 golf lodges, 229 village units, 332 residential homes and an 18 hole championship golf course and clubhouse. He was responsible for obtaining the development rights with the professional team and the design development of the product.
In 2004, Adrian identified the need for a high density residential lifestyle estate. He secured the land and defined the product and that led to the formation of the Living4U group of companies of which Adrian is the CEO.
Adrian has been involved with the SA Institute of Building for a number of years, first as Gauteng North Management Committee, then Chairman of the committee for 2 years, National Council member, Junior Vice President and Senior Vice President. He is currently registered at the Chartered Institute of building South Africa and the Association of Construction Project Managers.

Richard Currie
Richard Currie is Proteus Property Advisors CIO, and was involved in the fundraising and successful listing of SAPRO on AIM in October 2006. Since then he has set up and jointly run PPA in Johannesburg. PPA is the advisor to the Investment Manager, and is responsible for sourcing deals and managing developments in South Africa.
Richard is an active property developer and, prior to the launch of SAPRO, was managing director of the Currie Group, one of South Africa’s oldest property companies. Richard was responsible for identifying property investment and development opportunities on behalf of the group and the management of a number of privately held property portfolios. He has recently initiated and managed development projects including Tatham Court (28 residential apartments, Johannesburg), Quarrywood (86 residential apartments, Johannesburg), and N12 Industrial Park (9,000m² industrial park, Johannesburg), one of the largest new industrial parks on the East Rand in the 10 years.

Richard is well known as a deal maker and brings with him a strong network of property professionals active throughout South Africa.
Richard holds an MBA (Construction & Real Estate) from the College of Estate Management at Reading University (UK), a diploma in project management (RICS), and a Bachelor of Commerce majoring in Business Economics Real Estate. He registered as a Valuer in training in 1999, and completed the Estate Agents board examination in October 1991.

Keith Wolstenholme

Keith comes from a corporate finance/investment banking background with JP Morgan. He trained in New York and London after JP Morgan established a local investment banking country team in Johannesburg in 1999. He spent two years in Johannesburg covering the mining and oil & gas sectors, and also worked in JP Morgan’s UK mergers & acquisitions team in London for a year. Keith subsequently spent two years as a senior associate with Shield Advisory Services, a UK based firm specialising in the sale of companies.
He is also a private property developer with experience in South African residential property market.

His role has been as lead developer on residential developments in KwaZulu Natal ( structural addition to and renovation of a block of coastal flats) and Gauteng ( sub division of land, installation of bulk services and preparation for construction of freehold cluster units) . He has experience in project feasibility studies, financing and overall project management.
Keith is a graduate of the University of Cape Town where he obtained a Bachelor of Commerce and post graduate Honours degree in Economics. He has also successfully completed the Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) programme, and is a current CFA charterholder.

Jaco Pienaar
Jaco Pienaar graduated from the University of Pretoria with a B.Sc (Building Management) in 1988. His M.Sc (Property Development) was done at the University of Pretoria in 1992, but his thesis is still outstanding.
He did his military service in the Air Force Building Unit as an officer during the period 1989 to 1990. He worked at Bester Homes from 1990 to 1991 as a Junior Contract Manager and was involved in the building of the Premus Building for the City Council of Pretoria.
From 1992 to 1994 he worked at NBS Devco as a Project Manager. Projects included residential developments, including cluster and sectional title units. Jaco was responsible for projects at the Willows in Randburg, a shopping centre in Dower Glen and developments in Pierre van Ryneveld.
From 1995 to 2000, he was involved as Project Manager in turnkey projects, mostly large sectional title developments and office parks.
In 2001 he joined Caliber Management as Project Manager of residential projects for various developers.

Jaco specialises in development management, which involves the total process from town planning to marketing and handing over the units.
In 2003 Jaco and partners started a development company and since then, has concentrated on development only.

Albert Swanepoel
Albert studied BSc (Quantity Surveying) at the University of Pretoria and finished his studies in 1989.
After obtaining his degree Albert worked for a major Quantity Surveying Company where he became a Professional Quantity Surveyor and learned the ins and outs of Cost Management.
After that Albert worked for a Building Contractor and managed Commercial, Industrial and Residential projects.
In 2001 Albert started a development company specialising in Residential and Commercial developments.
Albert became the Financial Manager and manages the total Capital layout, Income, Cash flows, Development bonds, Overheads etc of the Company.
Albert became involved with the African Renaissance Development and handles the total Financial Management.
